I gotta say, there’s a lot of spamming going on in this community. I’m not even subbed to it, but my entire timeline is filled with this sub.

And like the other user mentioned, thank you for being upfront and for this heartfelt post!

I don’t love it, but I also get it. Like I said in my post a few days ago, I’m not in your shoes trying to get a site off the ground. Sometimes you have to do what you think is best in the moment. And maybe this will amount to something great, so why not. I don’t plan to partake, but I wish you and everyone else luck in doing so!

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I’m not in your shoes— somebody who’s trying to get a fledgling social media site off the ground. So I don’t fully understand everything that goes into doing so. I’m just here, along for the ride with zero stakes. So I apologize if I was too critical in this post— I really don’t know what it takes to put together a site, market it, and hell( make a bitcoin (?) for it. So yes, I’ll be sticking around and checking things out as I have been. Making comments and threads here and there. I’d love to see this site flourish! I may not entirely agree with the bitcoin or whatever stuff, but I also understand that you have to do what you have to do. Doesn’t mean I have to put money into it personally. I’m still here, hoping the best for the site and you.

I played around with Kindroid for a little bit, for a few weeks or so. It was neat but I got bored.

Game Freak will put so much effort into marketing and so little into their actual games, lmao. These are super cute though, and I love that there’s something for everyone. Even if someone’s fave Pokemon is something totally out there like, say, Gorebyss, now they dont have to feel left out.

50/50. It’s a rougelite (rougelike? I don’t know the difference) where half of the game is spent dungeon crawling and defeating bosses for the storyline, and the other half is creating and tending to your cult (the area) and your followers. Think a dark-themed Animal Crossing mixed with Binding of Isaac. It’s an incredibly fun game with a super addictive gameplay loop!

I had an original Gameboy, but I didn’t play it much. Once I got my Gameboy Color though, everything changed. My go to game was Dragon Warrior Monsters and Pokémon Blue.

Agreed. I just went through the full list of subs and subscribed to what I wanted, and yeah, there’s a bunch of very niche things there. I’m also at fault though with my created sub (could easily fit into a TV sub). If we’re hoping for the site to take off, we need to be pretty general right now.

This is really sad. I often think about how homeless people manage to get by when bad weather hits. I guess they don’t sometimes which is upsetting. So much wealth out there just sitting while it could be spent on making the less fortunate’s lives even just slightly more livable.

These look pretty cool (or at least the idea is), but most days I find myself missing my dumbphone from the 2008ish era, lol. The Motorola Razor and the Pebble were awesome.
