Privacy Policy

What We Collect

• Account information: your username, email address, password (unless you sign in with Google or Apple), profile picture, banner, bio and settings. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your email address and, where available, your name and profile picture. We never access your contacts or activity on those services.
• Content you create: posts, comments, votes, saved posts, communities you join, and the images, videos and voice messages you upload.
• Messages: direct and group chat messages, who is in each conversation, read receipts, typing indicators and whether you are online.
• Payments: subscription status, purchase records and tips. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor or with Apple or Google; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage and device information: pages and screens you view, features you use, searches, your IP address, browser, device model, operating system, app version and language, and crash reports from the app.
• Approximate location: the country you last used OddsRabbit from, based on your IP address. We never collect precise location.
• How you found us: the link, campaign or app store listing that brought you to OddsRabbit.

How We Use It

• To run OddsRabbit: your account, posting, chat, notifications, payments and translations.
• To keep the community safe: preventing spam, abuse and illegal content (see "How We Keep OddsRabbit Safe").
• To understand and improve OddsRabbit, and to fix bugs and crashes.
• To apply country-specific restrictions where the law requires it, and to show anonymous, aggregate country counts on our public stats pages.
• To measure which of our own marketing campaigns bring people to OddsRabbit.
• To contact you about your account and, unless you opt out, send newsletters and product updates.

Ads on OddsRabbit are contextual: they are determined based on the community you are viewing, its topics, and your country. We also count how often you have seen an ad so we can limit repeats. We do not build an advertising profile of you, and we do not use your posts or messages to target ads.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or marketing partners. We share it only:

• With other users, through what you post publicly, your public profile, and the messages you send.
• With service providers that run parts of OddsRabbit for us, listed below. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
• For legal reasons, when required by law or a valid request from authorities, or when needed to protect the safety of our users or the public.
• In a business transfer, if OddsRabbit is merged or acquired. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
• With your consent, for anything else.

Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to run OddsRabbit. They process data only on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

• Hosting and content delivery: website traffic including IP addresses; uploaded images and videos
• Payments: email address, account ID and purchase details
• Sign-in (Google, Apple): sign-in details
• Email and notifications: email address or device token, the message, and whether it was opened or clicked
• Real-time chat: chat messages and account identifiers
• Analytics and crash reporting: usage data, device information and account ID
• App install measurement (app only): device information, IP address and Android advertising ID — no name, email or content
• Translation and transcription, including AI services: the post text or voice message being processed, only when translation or a transcript is requested
• Safety and moderation: uploaded images or their fingerprints, and content flagged for review

Embedded content in posts (such as YouTube videos or social media posts) and fonts from Google Fonts are loaded by your browser directly from those companies, which then receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you logged in, protect your account, and remember preferences such as your layout and theme. We also use a first-party analytics cookie to understand how OddsRabbit is used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on our website.

Our emails may tell us whether they were opened and which links were clicked, through our email provider. We use this to check that emails are delivered and to improve them, never to target ads. You can block it by turning off images in your email app.

Mobile App

The app asks for camera, photo and notification access only when you use a feature that needs it. To measure which of our ads lead to app installs, an install measurement provider receives device information such as model, IP address and, on Android, the advertising ID (which you can reset in your device settings). Where no advertising ID is available, it may statistically estimate which ad led to an install; we see only campaign totals. We do not access Apple's advertising identifier.

How We Keep OddsRabbit Safe

Some safety checks are automated: spam and suspicious content may be hidden, signups linked to previously banned accounts may be restricted, and uploaded images are checked for adult content and for known child sexual abuse material. Matches of the latter are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as U.S. law requires. If you think an automated decision about you is wrong, email [email protected] and a person will review it.

How Long We Keep It

• Account, profile and settings: while your account exists
• Posts and comments: until you delete them. Edit history, including the text of edited or deleted posts, is kept for 2 years for moderation
• Messages: while the conversation exists. Deleting a conversation hides it only for you; deleted messages are hidden from everyone but a copy is kept for safety and moderation
• Security and technical logs: 12 months. This includes login IP addresses and notification, error, ad and email delivery records
• Activity history: 2 years. This includes communities and profiles you visited, the days you were active, and posts you were shown repeatedly or opened, which we remember so we don't keep recommending posts you've already seen or passed on. A post you were shown only once is remembered for 90 days. A record of which posts your For You feed showed you, and whether you viewed, opened or engaged with them, is kept for 4 days so we can measure how well the feed works; after that only totals across all users are kept
• Moderation records, and records of accounts removed for abuse: as long as needed to enforce our rules and prevent abuse from returning
• Tips, payouts and transactions: 7 years, for tax and accounting

Images from deleted posts may remain reachable at their direct link until they are cleaned up. Analytics and crash reports are kept according to our providers' settings, and anonymous aggregate statistics may be kept indefinitely. We may keep data longer when the law requires it or it is subject to a legal hold.

Deleting Your Account

Log in and visit oddsrabbit.com/delete-account, or email [email protected]. Your account is deactivated immediately and active subscriptions are cancelled (no refunds for partial periods). Log back in within 30 days to cancel; after that it is permanently deleted.

• Erased: your profile, email address, settings, votes, saved posts, follows, notifications, activity history, profile picture and banner.
• Posts and comments stay visible with "[deleted]" as the author. Delete them first if you want them removed.
• Messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation, no longer linked to you.
• Kept: tip and transaction records, login IP records until they expire, moderation and abuse records, and data in backups until they are overwritten.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and opt out of marketing emails at any time. Many of these are available in your account settings; for anything else, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request". We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK, you can also restrict or object to how we use your data, withdraw consent, ask for a human review of automated decisions, and complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and you won't be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

You must be at least 13 to use OddsRabbit, or older if your country requires it. Mature content requires confirming you are 18 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email [email protected] and we will delete it. See our Child Safety Standards for more.

Security and Where Data Is Stored

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. Your data is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate, which may be outside your country.

Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you by email or a notice on OddsRabbit before it takes effect.
