Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

• Votes and Interactions: Upvotes, downvotes, and reactions to content
• Saved Content: Posts and comments you bookmark
• Uploaded Media: Images and files you upload to posts, comments, or profile

Subscription and Payment Data

• Apple In-App Purchase Data: Transaction IDs, product identifiers, receipt data, subscription status and tiers (for iOS subscriptions)
• Stripe Payment Data: Payment method information (card last 4 digits, masked), billing information, transaction history (for web subscriptions)
• Subscription Status: Active subscriptions, renewal dates, subscription periods
• Note: We do not store full payment card numbers; payment processing is handled by Apple and Stripe

Communication and Presence Data

• Message Content: Text and media in direct and group messages
• Conversation Metadata: Participants, timestamps, read receipts
• Typing Indicators: Real-time typing status in conversations
• Online/Offline Status: Presence information (when you're active on the platform)
• Last Seen: Timestamp of your last activity

Notification Data

• Push Token Registration: Device-specific tokens for push notifications
• Notification Preferences: Your chosen notification settings
• Delivery Status: Whether notifications were successfully delivered
• Badge Counts: Unread counts for messages and notifications

Attribution and Marketing Data

• UTM Parameters: Source, medium, campaign, content, term from marketing links
• Referrer Information: Website or source that referred you to OddsRabbit
• Landing Page/Screen: First page or screen you viewed
• Signup Attribution: How you discovered and signed up for OddsRabbit

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:

OddsRabbit is available as a mobile application for iOS and Android devices. This section describes data collection and practices specific to our mobile app.

Mobile Permissions

Our mobile app requests the following permissions:

Camera Access

• Purpose: To take photos for posts and profile pictures
• When Requested: Only when you tap "Take Photo" or "Camera" button
• Data Collected: Photos you explicitly choose to capture and upload
• How to Manage: iOS Settings → OddsRabbit → Camera | Android Settings → Apps → OddsRabbit → Permissions → Camera

Photo Library Access

• Purpose: To select existing photos from your device for posts and profile pictures
• When Requested: Only when you tap "Choose Photo" or "Gallery" button
• Data Collected: Photos you explicitly select to upload
• How to Manage: iOS Settings → OddsRabbit → Photos | Android Settings → Apps → OddsRabbit → Permissions → Photos and videos

Notifications

• Purpose: To send real-time alerts for messages, mentions, replies, and activity updates
• When Requested: On first app launch or when you enable notifications
• Data Collected: Device push token, notification preferences, delivery status
• How to Manage: iOS Settings → Notifications → OddsRabbit | Android Settings → Apps → OddsRabbit → Notifications

Mobile-Specific Data Collection

Device Identifiers

• Expo Push Token: Unique identifier for sending push notifications to your device
• Device ID: Anonymous identifier for analytics and crash reporting
• Installation ID: Tracks app installations and updates

Device Information

• Device type and model (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23)
• Operating system and version (e.g., iOS 17.2, Android 14)
• App version (e.g., 1.0.0)
• Screen resolution and device orientation
• Mobile carrier information (for connectivity diagnostics)
• Language and region settings

Local Storage

Our mobile app stores data locally on your device:

• Encrypted Storage: Authentication tokens and sensitive data
• App Settings: User preferences, onboarding status, theme preferences, draft posts
• Image Cache: Temporarily cached images for faster loading
• Note: This data is stored only on your device and is automatically cleared when you uninstall the app

Push Notifications

• Service Used: Expo Push Notification Service
• Data Collected: Device push token, notification preferences, delivery receipts, badge counts
• Notification Types: Messages, mentions, comment replies, votes, community activity, subscription reminders
• Third-Party Processing: Expo processes push tokens and notification content to deliver notifications to your device

Attribution Tracking

We collect attribution data to understand how users discover our app:

• UTM Parameters: Source, medium, campaign, content, term (from deep links)
• Referrer Information: Where you came from before installing the app
• Landing Screen: First screen you viewed after opening the app
• First Launch Data: Timestamp of first app open
• Signup Source: How you discovered OddsRabbit (for marketing attribution)

Mobile App Updates

• App updates are delivered through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Over-the-air updates may be delivered for bug fixes and minor improvements without requiring a full app update
• Update delivery data (e.g., update version, download success) may be collected

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

• Profile Information: Retained until you delete your account or update it

User-Generated Content

• Posts and Comments: Retained indefinitely until you manually delete them
• Direct Messages: Retained indefinitely until you delete the conversation
• Group Chat Messages: Retained until the conversation is deleted by you or the group creator
• Uploaded Media: Retained until the associated content (post, comment, profile) is deleted

Usage and Analytics Data

• Usage Logs: 90 days
• Error Logs and Crash Reports: 30 days
• Analytics Data: Aggregated data retained for up to 2 years

Subscription and Payment Data

• Subscription Status: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 1 year for accounting purposes
• Transaction Records: 7 years (required for tax and accounting compliance)
• Payment Method Information: Stored by Apple/Stripe, not by OddsRabbit

Deleted Account Data

• Active Data Deletion: Personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days of account deletion
• Backup Retention: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days
• Legal Hold: Data may be retained longer if required for legal proceedings or regulatory investigations

Data Retention Exceptions

Account Deletion and Data Export

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your OddsRabbit account at any time:

2. Alternatively, log in to your account, go to Account Settings, and select "Delete Account"
3. Confirm your decision and provide your password
4. Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

• Immediate: Your account is deactivated and inaccessible
• Within 30 Days: Personal data is removed from active systems
• Public Content: Posts and comments you made will be anonymized (username replaced with "Deleted User")
• Private Data: Messages, profile information, and account details are permanently deleted
• Subscriptions: Active subscriptions are cancelled (no refunds for partial periods)
• Backups: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days

Data That May Be Retained

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain data:

• Transaction Records: Subscription and payment records for 7 years (legal requirement)
• Security Logs: Fraud prevention and security incident records
• Legal Holds: Data subject to legal proceedings or investigations
• Aggregated Data: Anonymous, aggregated analytics data

How to Export Your Data

Age-Restricted Content

• Communities marked as NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or containing mature content require additional age verification
