Everything you need to know about OddsRabbit — from getting started to monetization and beyond.

Platform Basics

OddsRabbit is a community platform built for interests, hobbies, and passions. Think of it as a modern alternative to Reddit and Discord — combining communities, chat, newsletters, and monetization all in one place. No politics, no AI spam, just real human discussions.

Yes. Signing up, joining communities, posting, commenting, and chatting are all completely free. Some communities may offer optional paid subscriptions with exclusive perks, but the core platform is free for everyone.

OddsRabbit combines the best parts of multiple platforms into one. Unlike Reddit, creators earn up to 95% revenue share and posts are indexed by Google. Unlike Discord, conversations are persistent and searchable. Plus, every signup donates a meal for a child and 10% of ad revenue goes to charity.

Yes. OddsRabbit has native apps for both iOS and Android. You can download them from the App Store or Google Play. The mobile apps support all core features including communities, chat, and notifications.

When you create an account, a meal is donated for a child through our charity partners. You can then pick a username, choose communities that match your interests, and start participating right away.

Communities

Communities cover a wide range of interests — sports, gaming, music, cooking, fitness, technology, art, and much more. The only topics not allowed are politics and illegal content. You can browse all communities on the Explore page.

Any registered user can create a community. Go to Create Community, choose a name and topic, set your rules, and you're ready to go. You'll automatically become the owner with full control over settings, moderation, and monetization.

Absolutely. OddsRabbit is designed for creators of all sizes. Public figures get the same tools as everyone else — built-in newsletters, subscriptions, ad revenue sharing, and a dedicated space for their audience.

Yes. Community owners can set their community to private, which means only approved members can see posts and participate. Private communities are great for exclusive groups, paid memberships, or tight-knit interest groups.

OddsRabbit uses a hybrid moderation approach. Community owners and their appointed moderators handle day-to-day moderation, while the OddsRabbit team moderates all general communities for platform-wide consistency. This ensures quality across the entire platform.

Monetization & Earnings

Creators have three revenue streams: Ad revenue share (40% of ad revenue from their community), Subscriptions (90% of subscription fees from their members), and Tips & donations (95% of tips received). All three can run simultaneously.

Earnings are tracked in your community dashboard. Payouts are processed through Stripe and deposited directly to your bank account. You can view your earnings history, pending payouts, and transaction details at any time from your dashboard.

Yes. Ads are completely optional. Community owners can disable ads at any time from their community settings. This gives you full control over your members' experience — you can rely solely on subscriptions and tips if you prefer an ad-free community.

Subscriptions

Community subscriptions let creators offer premium content and perks to paying members. Owners set their own pricing and benefits — such as exclusive posts, special badges, or subscriber-only chat channels. Creators keep 90% of subscription revenue.

If a community offers subscriptions, you'll see a "Subscribe" button on their page. Click it, choose your plan, and complete payment through our secure Stripe checkout. Your subscription benefits activate immediately.

Yes. You can cancel any subscription at any time from your Account Settings. When you cancel, you'll continue to have access to subscriber benefits until the end of your current billing period.

Content & Policies

OddsRabbit is intentionally built as a space for interests, hobbies, and passions — not political debate. This policy keeps the platform focused on constructive, enjoyable conversations and prevents the toxicity that political discussions often bring to online communities.

Creative uses of AI (like AI-assisted art or brainstorming) are welcome, but AI-generated spam is not. The platform is built for human discussions, so mass-produced AI content that adds no genuine value will be removed. We want authentic conversations between real people.

Yes. Public posts on OddsRabbit are indexed by search engines, which means your content can be discovered through Google searches. This is a major advantage for creators — your posts continue to attract new readers and community members over time.

In addition to politics and AI spam, prohibited content includes illegal material, harassment, hate speech, doxxing, and explicit content outside of properly rated communities. Full details are available in our Community Guidelines.

Account & Settings

Yes. You can update your username from your Account Settings page. Your new username will be reflected across the platform, including in your posts, comments, and profile.

You can delete your account from your Account Deletion page. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your profile, posts, and comments. Active subscriptions should be cancelled before deleting your account.

OddsRabbit donates a meal for every new user signup through our charity partners. Additionally, 10% of the platform's share of ad revenue goes to charities nominated by community members. You can view and vote on supported charities from the Charities page.

Contributors is our recognition program for top community members — similar to Yelp Elite. Contributors receive exclusive swag, a special profile badge, access to a private community, moderation features, and a share of platform distributions. It's our way of rewarding the people who make OddsRabbit great.
