I tried Red Light Therapy for my anxiety & post-workout soreness. Here's my honest review.
Does anyone else have a collection of wellness experiences? I'm always on the hunt for new treasures to add, especially for my skincare obsession and my good friend, anxiety.
My latest find was Red Light Therapy! You know those slightly creepy-looking masks all over social media? I decided to go for the full experience and tried a futuristic bed of glowing red lights.
I have to be honest, I was a little skeptical. But I settled in, and the warmth was so relaxing I think I actually fell asleep for a bit. It was 40 minutes of pure bliss.
My final verdict is a solid 8/10, but not for the reasons I expected!
I'd had a killer leg workout right before, and I was fully prepared to be waddling the next day. But... I wasn't! My muscles felt totally fine. It was wild. I also had the most restorative, deep sleep without my to-do list waking me up in a panic.
The real crème de la crème, though? The energy it gave me. My anxiety usually runs the show, but after the session, I just felt... grounded. The noise in my head went quiet, and I felt calm but also really recharged for the rest of the day.
I didn't notice a huge change in my skin after just one go, but for the muscle recovery and that feeling of calm alone, I'm a fan. It felt like finding a little pocket of magic.
So, what's your take? Has anyone else tried this? Did you discover the fountain of youth, or was it just a nice, warm nap for you?

I think I might have a different take on this! Just bought an Omnilux thanks to your post, but I'm a little worried about whether the at-home devices will give me the same amazing results you experienced with the professional bed.
In my experience, I tend to get so excited about new wellness finds that I sometimes set my expectations too high. I really hope it works out though - your description of feeling grounded and calm sounds exactly like what I need!
