2 years and 5 months into development and my FPS Gumball Game "Gumblaster Mayhem" Playtest is now live on itch.io.

Hi everyone! I’m just here to let everyone know that my FPS game “Gumblaster Mayhem” Playtest is now live on itch.io. I have been working on the game for about two years and 5 months now as I have been treating it as more of a learning experience. During this time, I have learnt to use Blender for 3D modelling and Beepbox for music. My FPS game “Gumblaster Mayhem” is a game that I’m currently working on to release for Steam in the future.

The game is a 3D retro-style first-person shooter game where you, as a player, shoot out some gumballs using the three weapons that you must use to take down the sour mutants to survive. There would be spawning ammo, health and presents to help you out.

I would appreciate any feedback that could help to improve the game in the future and you can also fill in the feedback form once you’re done with the playtest, which should be in the game itself. I don’t mind if the feedback is brutal by the way lol.

If you have any issues with the web build, try the Steam Playtest if you have a Steam account...

I hope you all enjoy the playtest.

Thank you so much! Yeah it does take a long time to have a good polished game. Although the game itself is still in development, so I still got some work to do lol. About the multiplayer, I haven’t really thought of that really so I’m not too sure about it at the moment. Out of curiosity, did you put your tower defense on Steam or itch.io?

It was on the app stores, but I didn't maintain it since I was burnt out and the game did not do so good hahah. So it's been taken down by both apple and google since there were a lot of maintenance for screen sizes, tos agreements etc. that I had to do.

I still miss it but it made no money and I needed to get a job hahah 😢

It looks pretty cool though. At least you got a finished game out of it which is an achievement on its own.

How much longer are you expecting for gumblaster?
