What inspired us to build a new community platform, built for the modern creator

Our Story

Every community builder eventually faces the same question: How do you build a community that actually supports your work?

When my project StockNinja.io got popular, users begged for a space to connect and chat, but I couldn't find a platform that fit our needs.

The Problem with Today's Platforms

Discord: Great for engagement, but it was a high-maintenance time sink that pulled me away from everything else. Plus, conversations were temporary, which meant repeating the same things over and over again.
Reddit: Love Reddit for discussions and community, but it's not built for modern community needs. Reddit keeps 100% of the ad revenue, and there's no way for communities to support themselves or work toward shared goals.
Patreon: More transactional than community—great for payments, terrible for genuine connection.

Building the Solution

I needed a platform that would build genuine relationships and discussions without it becoming a separate full-time job.

That’s why I built OddsRabbit: to combine the best of what works and fix what's broken.
