How Account Deletion Works
- Fill out the form below with the email address associated with your account
- We will send a verification email to confirm your identity
- Once verified, your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:
- Account credentials: Username, email address, and password
- Profile information: Avatar, bio, and personal settings
- Personal data: IP addresses, device tokens, and session information
- Private communications: Direct messages and chat history
- Preferences: Notification settings and app preferences
- Financial records: Subscription and payment history
What Data Will Be Retained
To maintain the integrity of community discussions, the following content remains visible but will be marked as posted by "[deleted]":
- Posts and comments: Your public contributions to communities remain visible
- Vote counts: Votes are preserved to maintain content rankings
Retention period: There is a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion, allowing time to recover your account if the request was made in error.
