I don't trust 008

After watching Season 5, I don’t trust Kali (008), and honestly I don’t think we’re supposed to.

Based on what’s actually shown this season, Kali consistently operates on her own terms. She withholds information, decides what others “need” to know, and acts first without considering how her choices affect the rest of the group. That alone makes her hard to trust in a situation where transparency is crucial.

Her behavior toward Eleven is especially concerning. Instead of supporting Eleven’s judgment, Kali keeps steering things in the direction she wants, framing her choices as necessary or inevitable. It doesn’t come across as guidance, it comes across as pressure. Even when others hesitate or question her, Kali never really reflects or adjusts.

What stands out most in Season 5 is that Kali’s priorities never fully align with the group’s. She helps when it suits her goal, but her focus stays narrow and personal. The show makes it clear that she’s willing to cross lines that other characters won’t, and she doesn’t show much remorse afterward.

I’m not saying she’s a full villain, but Season 5 definitely shows she’s not someone I’d trust with critical decisions. She’s secretive, emotionally driven, and willing to justify extreme actions, and that makes her unreliable no matter how powerful she is. Curious if others feel the same.
