What's by far the best jack-of-all-trades video editor?

Yes- there are a lot of video editing software. But what's your favourite?

Personally, as a YouTube creator for 3 years, CapCut is my favourite. It's lightweight, easy to use and has decent features (yeah I paid for pro)

The only downsides I experience with CapCut are it's quite expensive if you want all the features and it has limitations when it comes to animation. But as a creator, that's not much of a problem.

For editors (like making edits of shows, movies & anime), I've heard that Adobe After Effects & Davinci Resolve dominate the space, along with Alight Motion.

But the real question is what's the best overall?

I don't do YouTube much anymore but this was one of my experiments

Very cool

I don't do too much video but having tried Davinci Resolve (free), Final Cut Pro, and Capcut (Premium), I prefer Capcut > Davinci Resolve = Final Cut Pro (with price taken into account)

Tried those except final cut pro (I'm a Windows guy) but I can agree with your list
