In the mid-eighties, I had no idea I was living in the eighties. 1985 was just another year. But now, in 2026, I find myself thinking that 1985 isn't just conveniently placed in the middle of the decade, it actually is the year that most perfectly embodies the eighties.

I'll tell you one of mine: I'm obsessed with proper dish arrangement in the dishwasher. I will never call somebody out on it, but whenever I see something inappropriate in a dishwasher I will secretly rearrange stuff.

While there’s nothing wrong with Pharrell Williams’ song "Happy", C2C’s song with the same name as sung by Derek Martin makes me much, much happier. Very 'limbzy' as well: this song makes you wanna dance using all four extremities.
