Tiktok has a drop down menu after you click on notifications that allows you to choose see likes or just comments. I think it's a good interface design.

This was a feature of the Reddit Enhancement Suite addon. It was nice while scrolling on desktop, that you can click on the expand icon on the bottom right of the thumbnail of a picture (or video) to see an expanded view rather than needing to click on the post and go to...

Once this place really takes off and posts get hundreds or thousands of comments. It would be nice to collapse a collapse comment discussion line like they do on reddit.
