I recently came across a bunch of Mac Bolan books (The Executioner, Stony Man, etc.) at a local thrift store. If you are not familiar, Mac Bolan was a mercenary during the Cold War era. He was American and did most of his work with a "special" unit of the CIA.

Ok, what is the oldest movie you still find scary? For me it might be Phantasm.
Has anyone read the first two books in this series (The Name of the Wind, A Wise Man’s Fear) or anything from this universe by Patrick Rothfuss? What did you think?
I whipped up some fajita seasoning, slapped it on a skirt steak and made fajitas for Cinco De Mayo.
I am working my way through a list of the 60 must-read American short story authors from a professor I once had. I am about halfway through it, and it has proven very interesting. I would have never read some of them, and it has changed the way I look at writing.
Does anyone recall this dude? He’s living on my desk.
