Just finished 'Let Us Descend' by Jesmyn Ward. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars. Definitely didn't care for it as much as I did her other books. At least it was a short read 😔

have you read Ursula K. Le Guin? I just read her "Into Darkness" and wasn't thrilled at first. But the ending hooked me. Beautiful tragedy that ends with hope for a whole planet. What was Let Us Descend about?
Never heard of her. Let Us Descend was about a girl escaping an abuse situation.
