Had a power outage due to storms last night. Lasted about three hours.

Is there a way to toggle between makong your personal posts public and private. Like if i wanted to post somethibg but only wanted my followers to see it, is that possible? Example: On the Mastodon, the visibility of every post you make can be customized to be private(only followers can see it), semi-private( followers can see it but it cant be seen by the trending timeline), and public.

Even with AI ruining everything, you still have the ability to look things up for yourselves. It is very important that we continue to search for answers. Allowing AI to do the thinking for you stops you from learning for yourselves.

Lebron James will be playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. He signed a two year vetersn minumum deal for $8 million total. As a NY Knicks fan, this will be in interesting match up once the season starts. Philly is one of our Eastern Conference rivals.

My only gripe about this podcast is that Rob talks, ALOT. Like it all ends up connecting to the main topic, but sometimes he is super longwinded.

I use AntennaPod on my phone(Android) and Rythmnbox on my laptop(Linux). AntennaPod is a free open source app foubd on the F-Droid store, Google Play, and possibly the Apple store.

With the recent news of Instagram deciding to add more AI nonsense to the offical IG app, i'm glad i only use the web version/desktop version now. The only social media app I have now is OddsRabbit. Everything else i log on through the web browser.

Just finished 'Let Us Descend' by Jesmyn Ward. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars. Definitely didn't care for it as much as I did her other books. At least it was a short read 😔

Spending my weekend enjoying the indoors. Thankfully my town had our 4th of July celebration last night.

Just finished 'Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World'. Its the sequel to 'Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.' The author is Benjamin Alire Saenz.

Yes the world is shit. Yes everything is "on fire". However, I can still find joy. I encourage everyone to find joy. Joy is resistance.

I love the micro blogging format of social media platforms because sometimes I just want to post shit. Lol. My blog is mainly for my long form posts.
