I'm an INFP, and I built a social platform the way an INFP would.
Hi, I'm Jing.
I'm a 7w8 INFP, and I decided to build my own social platform after being laid off last year.
It's like Reddit, but built in the way that matters to me.
Authentic and real. None of the AI-spam I am seeing everywhere nowadays.
Friendly and giving back. This platform is my way of giving back to the world. A meal is donated to a child in need for every signup, and 10% of the ad revenue generated through your activity is given back directly to the charity of your choice. I've always wanted to start a nonprofit by the time I was 30, but I didn't have the means to do so. This is my way of contributing in the meantime.
No toxicity. I banned politics from the platform on purpose. Not because it doesn't matter, but because I wanted a space where people could connect on their shared interests, not fight over their differences. There are enough other platforms for that.
I built this whole thing myself for the past year. It's not backed by a big tech company. It's just me, building something I wanted.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, please come check it out, it would mean a lot to me. I think you'll feel at home.
P.S. A few communities I think you'd enjoy: Little Lights (wholesome corner of the internet) and MBTI (you know why). And if you want to chat about this letter or ask me anything, you can do so here.
