Tubman supports people experiencing violence, trafficking, homelessness & trauma with safety, hope, and healing for over 50 years in the Twin Cities, MN
Tubman is a Twin Cities-based organization born from the union of four charities united by a single mission: ensuring that everyone has the right to feel safe.
They provide crisis shelter for mothers and children fleeing domestic violence, along with counseling, legal services, and the kind of ongoing support that actually changes outcomes. Because leaving an abusive situation is often the most dangerous time for a woman — and without real resources waiting on the other side, many are forced to return.
But where Tubman truly stands apart is in their work with children experiencing deep trauma. Support, kindness, and resources — that's how we break cycles and raise future generations to be better.
This community is a space to learn, share, and support the fight against domestic violence. Whether it's raising awareness, sharing resources, or simply showing up — you're making a difference.
