From a friend who works there, all the layoff and changes are wrecking havoc internally as well, with many looking to jump ship.
Its just sad. Facebook has had both good and bad impacts but its still how a lot of people stay in touch. Just greed and amorality. It could have been a solid contribution to the public good. Oh well. Lets hope that luxury bunker in Kauai brings decades of enjoyment for the Zuckerberg fam.

Maybe it's because I try to live under a rock but... Metaverse was meant to be a productivity tool? It looked like a playground for people on magic mushrooms.
Anyways, it's nice to see some level of failure for Meta. Even if inevitably they'll probably just lose out to even bigger assholes.
