I pitched an AI project to the Sheinbaum administration. Suggested building an AI lab for AI scientist types being thrown out of the US. A place for them to land, work, and teach. 1 part incubator and 1 part school all backed with some immigration support paid for by the private sector.
They’re still thinking about it. 😕
Sometimes, I think of seemingly smart things and then I talk about those things to anyone that will listen.
Occasionally, people like the smart things I say and I then go do them together.
Eventually, maybe, rarely, money comes and I spend it on stupid things that no one should spend money on.
It’s a vicious cycle, but somehow works for me.
