Snap is cutting 1,000 jobs, 16% of its workforce | TechCrunch

The company cites advancements in AI for the cuts. CEO Evan Spiegel also wrote that the company is closing more than 300 open roles. Snap had about 5,261 full-time employees as of December 2025.

Only two out of all people i have snap have snapchat+ , no wonder they are laying off

The benefits of it were too weak. Some people I know don’t even know what Snapchat+ does

Wonder if I could get a job at one of those nimble startups. Some new company like snapbunny.......P2P encryption and self erase messages.
