Hello from Betamax, Dana, Aeryn and Laserdisc

Hi all 😊 I used to spend a fair bit of time posting on the rabbit sub on Reddit and enjoyed talking about my rabbits (we have four) and sharing advice etc. Unfortunately, in November, Reddit banned my 10 year old account without explanation, and I’ve been trying to get unbanned ever since. If you’ve ever been shadowbanned from Reddit, you’ll know it’s often unfounded and they make it unfairly difficult to get them to reverse it.

I can still log in and read everything there, but it’s
horrible seeing topics where you think you can help a rabbit and all you can do
is read about it and wait for somebody else to say stuff. Especially if there’s
a rabbit needing an emergency trip to the vets.

So I started this community in the hope I can create a place
for rabbit owners to come together and discuss bunnies. I also get my online
rabbit fix, which I’ve missed a lot! I look forward to chatting with you all as
Oddsrabbit starts to take off.

I hope we can foster a nice atmosphere where everybody feels
welcome. As a lot of us know, there are some misconceptions about rabbits and
their needs, behaviour etc. I hope this can be a great place to share care
advice and our love for our little fluffy family members!

Hi :) Thanks for the welcome! I was going to send you a message when I got a feel for the site. To commend you more than anything, because this is seriously impressive. I can't wait to see Oddsrabbit grow.

I'll confess, I gave the Digg reboot a go back in January and tried starting a rabbit community there... what a mess that was. I was posting topics and trying to get talking and each topic was getting dozens of likes as the hours go by, but no replies. There seemed to be some really good people working there but they got royally screwed by the guys at the top and their ideas.

So as you can imagine, coming here is like night and day. It's got a really good vibe about the place and the site already has a lot of essential stuff that was missing in the Digg reboot. It also has an awesome name :D
