I'm sure it's fine but it freaks me out a bit. The random biting/scratching is the reason I don't have a cat (yet) lol
You just have to find the right one. We had a sweet Himalayan for a long time, he was the best natured cat ever, he was so good and sweet. He was 18 years old when he passed.
