Community rules

1. We do not spoonfeed

We have a 'no dumb question' policy on this subreddit, so ask away.

That being said - please follow reddiquette and try to consult google or use the search function before making a new post to ask a question with a easily found answer.

Also, try to provide adequate amounts of information in order to receive a helpful answer to your question or request.

2. Be kind

Attacking/harassing other users or using hurtful, hateful, or derogatory language is neither permitted nor tolerated.

3. No spam or advertising

This is not a subrabbit for buying or selling components - there are other subrabbits for this. Asking for donations or free components will also result in a ban. No advertising or posting surveys etc. without moderator permission. Explicit advertising will result in a ban.

4. No repeated phrases, memes or shitposts (see description)

While we do allow completely original memes that are related to PC's, PC components and PC building. However reposts, trend posts, shitposts, and AI generated content is subject to removal. This is to keep the sub fresh, entertaining, informative and to prevent the sub from becoming boring and over-saturated with slop.

Posts unrelated to PC building (such as memes about video games,) are subject to being removed under this rule as well.

This is a rule mostly left up to moderator discretion.

5. Not enough information

If you are posting on here seeking advice or help, include the necessary information for people to helpfully advise you and resolve your question or request.

If seeking purchasing advice, you must include your budget/country/currency or the price of the build/components you're thinking of buying.

6. Bots/AI Content

This applies to bots, spam accounts, and AI generated content (text or visual).

Because it's getting close to impossible to distinguish between a genuine human-run account that posts and comments AI generated content and a karrat-farming bot, it is assumed it's one and the same. So don't rely on AI generation for your post and replies if you don't want to risk being banned.
