EU Bans Fashion Companies From Destroying Unsold Clothes

A new law two years in the making has now come into force across the European Union. This is good news because researchers estimate that hundreds of thousands of tons of fashion items are needlessly destroyed every year in the EU alone at a major cost in carbon emissions.

Great news. Next should be food

Absolutely! I don't know about elsewhere, but the local Costco stores, at least a couple of the grocery chains, and a chain of bread bakery stores, donate nightly to the local food bank. Costco stores even have a huge bin out front and encourage people to leave purchased items in as well.
