The Yuka app – a review
I've been using this app for about 6 months now and what goes in my grocery cart is dramatically different!

I use Yuka all the time. It does seem to err on the side of caution, so you have to take what it says with ... a grain of salt. lol.
It has also surprised me in the opposite direction - telling me something is fine I always thought was bad for me. For example, Frosted Shredded Wheat came back as "Excellent". They do note the sugar, but I guess the benefits outweigh the sugar.
Agreed. It's like butter, it says it's a poor choice...when you look at why, it's like "well, ya, I know that...that's why moderation is helpful" ...but no bad additives or anything, all natural.
My good find was NoName (cheap) lightly salted ripple potato chips...surprisingly a healthy choice. But we won't talk about the dip LOL
