When Prime isn't Prime
I ordered some pen refills on Sunday...won't be here until Wednesday.
Secondary flash point: Amazon customer service is now an AI bot you have to basically jail break to get an actual human.

I can’t stand the AI customer support bots either. I have never once not tried to get to a customer representative right away. The only decent time I’ve had with them is when I need a refund and they handled it right away which is a niche use case
It's a shame. Amazon used to have stellar customer service. In fact, I think that's probably a good part of the reason they became so huge.
When you finally get a rep, it's that same level of service, but it's more difficult to get there, and I feel like that's a mistake on their part.
AI can be a great tool, but it is not suitable for every use case. Humans will always want to interact with other humans. Sorry robots.
But the problem with human support is they cost money, and having lower profits is completely unacceptable apparently😭💀.
AI custor service is the reason I dropped one isp and went to another. The AI was arguing with me over whether a power supply was working. I got a multimeter out and measure the voltage. AI still insisted it was bad.
Good for you lol. If they want to use ai customer support, it better be perfect. I was arguing with an uber AI also a while ago when my driver scammed me and stole my phone, I was so annoyed I swore to never use uber again (and I haven’t, even though they gave me a credit)
I hate that Amazon can just delay packages. I think Ill start following up on every one for a credit or something lol.
On the phone just repeat: representative, customer service, live agent until it connects you to someone. I do that in IVR systems too. Sometimes they let you press 0 or * to connect to a person
It feels like they whole company is working against you. To take the customer service challenge you first have to find the customer service section. You'd think it would be linked on pages where you might have questions, but no, it's somewhere in the nether regions of the front page.
Deliveries are as bad as the AI imo. I know things are different in America, but before Amazon, it wasn't cool to just leave/throw/kick parcels in the general vicinity of the front door and consider it mission accomplished. At the very minimum they should ring the bloody doorbell. But no, too much effort. I get that they're overworked and their deal is a shit deal... Maybe Bezos could pull some strings so drivers get a fair deal and we get our parcels delivered without being stolen? What's the point in giving drivers your suitable delivery times, disability requirements and loads of useful info if they're just going to boot the parcel against a brick wall and ignore everything.
