Hi guys sorry for my inactivity I have just been demotivated to use platforms that are similar to Reddit..
Since I had both of my accounts wiped with hundreds of thousands of texts and thousands of karma and everything just gone like that it made me realise these companies and cooperations do not give a shit about you, they will just wipe your existence like you contributed nothing to the platform.
I am just very disheartened by the situation and I hope this platform takes off soon, so that I can get the people I want to talk to on here. No offence but no one here talks about the things I want to speak about such as tech, neurodivergent issues, etc etc.
Thank you for reading and continue to use OddsRabbit safely.
Signed, Cord.

Oh man :( I am sorry to hear, I know the feeling. Reddit perma-banned me on one account which meant the same for all of the others, one of the accounts I had for over a decade.
Oddsrabbit is still in it's early days. If you feel there is a community missing that you'd like to see, I'd suggest creating it, or maybe reaching out to some other people to see if they have any desire to create it.
It's going to take hard work from everyone here to get this platform fully on it's feet :) And then we will be laughing when it becomes huge and we can say we were here since the start!
I hear you. It's going to happen just give it time. I've come here in a similar situation and have my niche topics etc and access gone overnight.
I started a rabbit community here because I used to participate daily in Reddit's rabbit subs. That's my main Reddit grievance tbh. I know it'll be slow to start and it'll probably attract a different style of conversation initially... But that's how the Reddit subs evolved when they started.
It's not easy when you've picked niche topics for communities but that's fine. It'll just need a bit more time than the mainstream topics. If you have times when you don't feel like posting thats fine right? Take a break or post less for a bit, and come back when you start to feel the magic again. There's definitely room to do things on your terms.
No worries, I hope you feel better soon!
For niche communities, it's going to take a bit to get users with a wide variety of interests and hobbies but we'll get there, I'm sure!
I think a big challenge is to identify what Lemmy did wrong, and to not do that. Lemmy has/had a lot of potential, but after the reddit refugees from the API incident, the numbers dwindled and it went back to being basically inactive. I'm not sure what they did wrong, or what they could've done better, but they seemed to be the best chance at a true reddit alternative.
I browsed around lemmy for a little before I came here and my impression was that the userbase there is just generally unpleasant 😄
I’m here because Reddit is becoming a bit too angry, and it seems people don’t have as much common sense as they used to. Or it’s the TikTok crowd thinking it’s cool to be a mean know-it-all. I don’t know, but there has been a major shift, and I don’t like it.
I’m here, I am living a major neurodivergent life, and I hope that one day we will be able to chat about the things you enjoy too :) I think it’ll just take a bit of time. I hope this can be a new place for me to chat as well.
I understand everyone has become angry on Reddit and it has also become super strict like you cannot speak how you truly feel you have to have this filter on you every time you go to type it’s pissing me off. Not to mention Reddit has also banned all my accounts for whatever reason who knows, I’m just glad I’ve gone from there it was starting to annoy everyday just being on Reddit.
Habits die hard. Have you heard of that book that helps people quit smoking? Maybe we need a book like that for quitting reddit 😏
Oh, quick question. What communities did you make? I will join :)
Sorry I’m still navigating this new place
I’m sure you can check my profile and the community I am in I am not sure but if not I can get the list for you later I have made over 10+ communities I think including /c/tea /c/soundcloud and lots more.
