So 2 days ago my Reddit account was unable to do anything..
Now I know why, Reddit actually banned my account no warning no nothing just banned with no reasoning. I know this because I have a really old Reddit account and I checked my account and it says I am banned. The worst part is I don’t know how to appeal it I didn’t do anything wrong I actually had about 3,400 karma and 1,500 contributions in 3 months and now I’m just devastated.
This is partly the reason I use OddsRabbit due to stupid shit that Reddit is doing to its own user base.

Join the crowd! You can get perma banned for basically everything. Thats why Reddit sux these days and everything is a repost. All the comments are bots against bots. Boring as hell. Im here because I miss posting dumb shit lol
This happens to a lot of people, me included. I never got any reason why I'm banned and none of my appeals were answered 🤷 Sucks but seems the only thing we can do is move on from reddit.
Reddit is terrible moderators abuse powers the appeals process is useless, I've never seen anyone myself included get a ban over turned. I got banned for 7 days for using actual facts in a discussion and I made a joke. Someone was complaining about Trump and I said "the best outcome for everyone is if he woke up dead." I got a 7 day ban and tried to appeal it was told I wouldn't be over turned. Waited 7 days, continued using reddit and then 2 days after receiving a permanent ban for threats and hate speech. So now I just read reddit and don't comment the only part that's annoying is the ban banner at the top like why is that a thing?

There's so many experiences with the bans. I've never had an appeal acknowledged or anything. Some people say they have regular unsuccessful appeal notifications. Some people say they're banned after over a year. Some people say they get theirs overturned and they didn't appeal... You're seeing a banner at the top of the page (sounds like you didn't get shadowbanned). Place is a cesspit.
Yeah, they don't tell you anything until they make a decision.
When I got shadowbanned, I appealed and waited 3 weeks.
The weird thing for me is I never got any bans not even a warning on my account.

Oo I’m very sorry to hear this. Another user brought up this same issue maybe a month ago, and I don’t think there is an appeal/it worked
It’s a shame I didn’t do anything wrong at all on the platform and I wasn’t notified so I was left holding my breath for 2 days waiting for my account to fix itself as I had no idea what happened and now I’m just banned and I don’t feel like making another account.

no I was left holding myself for 2 days trying to figure out why my account wasn’t working and all my posts were removed by reddits filters for no reason.

But don't expect a quick response, sometimes some won't get a respond at all.
I got shadowbanned, but luckily it got rectified in 3 weeks.
But everything happens for a reason, if I didn't get shadowbanned, I wouldn't have found this beautiful alternative made our dear leader @JingJunMa

Yeah - Supposedly you send a screen shot of the comment that got you banned and someone reviews it. I seriously doubt there's any humans involved. If you get permabanned for writing something mods dont like you are out of luck
