Do you guys actually finish the games you start?
Lately, its just been feeling like I have been bumping into disappointment after disappointment with the games I have been playing, but stick with them to finish to the end because I bailed on like 4 games before.
You guys actually finish your games these days or do you bail if they don’t hook you?

Usually it comes to whether the game outstays their welcome.
I usually finish games of ≤25 hours but longer games often have unnecessary content.
There have been some exceptions where the extra content is actually the best part of the game. Like Breath of The Wild, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Super Mario Odyssey, Hades 1/2.
So yeah, I only finish a game if I never get bored by its content and try to rush to the end. Biggest factor may be that I always aim to experience all the content (100% completion, one playthrough)
Do you usually play long games? They are really exhausting if being played one after another. I have found that playing shorter games (sub 20 hours, sub 10h even better) in between helps with exhaustion.
I am finding it harder and harder to finish more games the older I get. The more games you play less unique they feel, and it can start getting stale over time. Many modern day games are filled with fetch quests and filler bloat to get the hours of gameplay it contains. Because of this I am starting to appreciate modern day indie games that are under 30s. There will always be a few exceptions like Zelda, but I am finding fewer games that really include 300hrs of unique gameplay.
100%. It's like they're trying to justify the price tag of the games and all it does is justify not wanting to buy it in the first place.
I'm trying to but time is my enemy. I'm clearly in love with the wrong games. I'm playing stuff like Kingdom Come Deliverence II and Stalker II and they're taking like 6-9 months to get through. I love these games, but it's like having a second job! As I've gotten older I've started falling asleep much earlier and that's robbed me of all my guaranteed gaming time lol.
There's some stuff like Baldurs Gate III that I haven't played in nearly a year but will go back to, one day hopefully. But there's been a load of stuff I've totally given up on and that's mostly stuff where I picked them up in a sale, or retro games I've started back up for nostalgia reasons. I just wish I could pause time for a year and just play games!
There's probably dozens of serious purchases I've given up on now. But for the last few years I've only bought stuff I know I'm going to obsess over.

I had finished some but I usually play sandbox survival craft or automation games so I stop when bored
Can't even remember the last game I finished lol. I bail ~50% of the way through. It's like probably 80% of the fun for 50% of the time, usually the end is just a grindfest or too repetitive for my liking.
What have you been playing?
Lately I have just been bouncing around from a bunch of mid games/obscure games; Lords Of the Fallen, Total Chaos, Dead Rising, Bayonetta, Code Vein. Those kinda games.
I’m about the same as you; Get 50% of the way through then start noticing the grind fest, then I bail.
Trying to not do that anymore and actually finish the games I buy.
