I recovered NewGrounds account and found the flash game I built when I was 15 lol
Brought over my basic coding skills from building Neopet and Neocities pages, and learned actionscript 3 for a Music Flash game hackathon, just to build a bootleg Dance Dance Revolution lol.
Never looked at the reviews til now, wow they're brutal lol.
Anyway, random. Also surprisingly NewGrounds is still alive and looking mostly the same!

Oh man, I miss Shockwave and Flash… I think it was a really innovative era of gaming, so many cool little games coming out. There was always a lot of slop too, but the cream rose to the top and we got some awesome ones… line rider, stick man games…
Yep! I still have vivid memories of Desktop Tower Defense, the really famous viral td game if you remember it lol. Played it all the time in computer class in school

WOAH, this was when adobe flash had taken online games by storm
Yeaa it was kinda like the early apps of today lol
I need to explore it a bit. With flash being removed, a lot of the games need a dedicated download/player now which I don't want to do lol
