In a post long ago I mentioned this. On a Windows machine I hit the Windows key '🪟' and period '.' to bring up my emoji and gif list.

Not at all lol, all it did was pull up the window key thing that popups, then types a . into the search. Pressing them together does nothing either.
Press and hold windows then hit period.
