Make Posts Private?
Is there a way to toggle between makong your personal posts public and private. Like if i wanted to post somethibg but only wanted my followers to see it, is that possible?
Example: On the Mastodon, the visibility of every post you make can be customized to be private(only followers can see it), semi-private( followers can see it but it cant be seen by the trending timeline), and public.

Are you thinking it should be toggle-able after the post is live? Or did you mean when you’re creating it?

On the flip side, is there a way to hide these types of posts altogether? There was someone who was posting things in another language, so I ended up having to block them. It would be nice to have control over shutting down types of content, either all personal posts, or at least posts by individuals without having to block all around.
There’s a “Hide posts from user” feature on the … dropdown if you go into their post. Block is a bit more destructive - you hide all their posts, comments, and them from seeing yours as well.
I can add a toggle to disable personal profile posts. In such a scenario, would you also want it disabled from people you follow?
I think if I follow someone it would make sense that I’d want to see them. So it would just be disabling someone’s personal posts from popping up.
