Feature request: confirm before exiting

When I've been browsing a while, I sometimes press the 'back' button when I'm in the top level, so I find myself suddenly out in the cold (and ofc have lost my place).

Please can the Android app, maybe as an option, either pop up an "Are you sure you want to quit" message, or require two presses to actually exit? (The RedReader app for reddit optionally does the latter, and it's super helpful for me.)

Hi @anadem! I can definitely look at this and add it for you.

I'm a bit confused, though, what back button? And by top level, you mean the home screen right? Or do you mean a post?

Can you share a screenshot of the screen and the back button you're referring to?

Thank you

Apologies JingJunMa .. i withdraw my gripe!

I dunno how i screwed up, but on trying to replicate the issue to send you a demo, it seems to have been my imagination. Quitting OddsRabbit app via the back button (i.e. the bottom left triangle-shaped icon on the Pixel 9 Android 10 screen) does return to the Android scrren, but re-entering OddsRabbit continues where I had left, which is perfect.

(In the RedReader app, that button quits the app (after two presses) so re-entering starts a fresh session at the "top" of reddit's home page, so I have to scroll lots to return to wherever i was before.)

No worries, thanks for taking the time to submit a feedback and for the video demo, I really appreciate it 🙂 hope you have a great rest of your week
