Any readers out there? I’m curious what everyone’s been reading lately. I’ll share mine first - tend to read multiple books at once because of my attention span and also because I get different genre cravings 😅
Right now I’m reading:
Everyday I Read by Hwang Bo Reum
Heaven by Mieko Kawakami
And I just finished The Beauty in the Zen by Kai Tsukimi yesterday. It was a refreshing change from my usual reads. Its very calming and introspective. I felt that I was able to apply some insights into my current stressful obstacles.

I just finished the entire Artimis Fowl books. It was just the right blend of humor and great characters. Though the later books definitely fell off a bit in quality.
I just bought If Cats Disappeared from the World and I'm excited to dig into it! It's also by a japanese author
Would you recommend Everyday I read? Looks interesting.
I haven't read anything in a while. I pay for Blinkist which is like a audio-book summary app that I listen to at the gym for some quick self reflection and introspection lol.
I would 100% recommend. Im half way through right now. I would say its an easy read and it is making me excited to read more books this year. She also recommends books in there which I am looking forward to as well.
Are there alot of book options on Blinkist?
I usually read 4-6 books at a time. Different genres, typically, but not always. Currently, I am reading: Life's Healing Choices by John Baker, The Wise Man's Fear (The King Slayer 2) by Patrick Rothfuss, Technopoly: The Surrender of Culture to Technology by Neil Postman, and a short story called A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O'Connor.
I just read "Have a Nice Disclosure!" by Julia Mossbridge. What a terrible book. I saw her on Joe Rogan Experience and wanted to learn more about her experiments, but the book is sadly devoid of fact. IMO, she emphasizes too much on the "nice" and left me wanting more on the "disclosure" part of things. I really like her writing voice though, so it was a pleasure to read. I just felt like I wasted my time a little.
Currently I am going through the audiobook, "Not Quite Done with Dating," by Bella Osmond. It's a very average romcom with a generic plot and standard tropes and characters, but sometimes that makes for a pleasant listen after a stressful day. What thought-provoking, funny, touching, or inventive romance novels or audiobooks do *you* recommend? I lean more towards the classics as opposed to contemporary novels.
