Do you use OR more than Reddit now?
I love the platform OddsRabbit provided us, but I still find myself using Reddit a whole lot more. Mainly just because they’ve got more users and communities.

Reddit's basically a news source at this point. It's read only and has resources for hobbies etc. OR is the one I consciously sign into and have hopes for. It's what Reddit used to be but without any of the poison. I think by the end of the year theres going to be a serious shift towards Reddit being an afterthought 😁
It's gonna be hard, because Reddit has a lot of users, but Oddsrabbit is gonna be a good competitor.

Yes I do, I still use Reddit because of my Community there, but I find myself using this place more, especially there's cool people here, plus our great leader @JingJunMa

I once made a joke on Asmongold's reddit that we should put Kaya's shock collar on Hasan, and see how he likes it.
I was then permanently banned for inciting violence.

I doubled down on ban appeals several times, just because I could. You can't begin to imagine the things I have flung their way. They are pump-action assholes.
Was this during the "recent" AI banner-bot they rolled out? Like, apparently how I interpreted the rules was not how the Bot did 😅

Huh. It's funny because I was banned shortly after making a post in /r/redditforgrownups that drew attention to that shitstain dog torturer as well.
I still use reddit mainly for tech answer. I used to use reddit for tech stuff and doom scrolling NSFW stuff
I think your usage is normal lol. I also still use Reddit as well, it has a bit of a different community and topics etc.
I do find myself no longer doom-scrolling Reddit though, which was something I used to do a lot.
I was never a big redditor so once I got banned it was pretty easy to move on. I don't use it at all.

Idk I wasn't given a reason for it, but I'm assuming the automatic filters flagged my account for some reason 🤷 if you go on r/shadowban there's a flood of people who don't know why they are banned lol
Oddrabbit for sure. Reddit made the mistake of shadow-banning me and giving me no reason (I'm finding they do that a lot). In the process I discovered Oddsrabbit and am thrilled with the community here.

My friend and myself are trying to find an online space that’s a better fit for us. Our experiences on Reddit have been less than stellar, so I’m checking out OR in the hopes that its user base is a little less rude. I mostly use Reddit to find answers for niche questions. Aside from that? I never scroll through it casually.

I have a sub on Reddit, it’s pretty popular and niche. I’d bring it here but the fat cats in charge said no. I like to go to Reddit to talk shit and engage in discussion not here. On TikTok I get in fights with people and still get followers .

Definitely OddsRabbit! I was also shadowbanned, multiple accounts until I gave up, tried to appeal, no luck. I was flagged as a bot/spammer it seemed although they would never contact me or tell me why and review it.
Easy yes for me. I'm not on Reddit. Change the question to IG, FB, or X, and it's still a yes.
I know a lot of people bundle Reddit with Instagram, Facebook or X, but IMHO, it’s a different category. I would bundle Reddit with Discord, OddsRabbit and any other chat/Reddit alt
I agree, Reddit is a mess of it's own, although X is doing it's best to catch up. I've never been on Discord, and likely never will. Thought about MeWe ahile back but didn't get past the sign up before realizing...nope. OddsRabbit, to me, as far as user interaction goes, is closest to what Twitter was in it's 2006-2010 startup phase — and crossed with Posterous.
Reddit might be my most used app. Never really had an issue there apart from being downvoted occasional for my abrasive comments. Can’t deny that most of the population is there and if you want a discussion or answers, Reddit has it.
I haven’t experienced the vitriol that most people complain about as far as evil mods and getting shadow banned.
I suppose it's a lot like life. How you experience it is dictated largely by the groups you associate with.
I've probably been on Reddit a half dozen times over the years, always briefly. Usually led there by a google search and thinking, well maybe I'll try this again. Almost always with recent frustrations over X, FB etc... Anyway, I sign up, and almost right away I'm like F*%#K Me! No thanks. So, to be honest, I've likely not really given it a fair shot.
That’s a fair assessment. I think I belong to over 10 subreddits and I’m a premium subscriber and my experience has been fine. I’m also on the TestFlight for iOS beta and the few times I’ve given feedback in the relevant sub, they’ve actually responded.

Can't even browse anymore, because the sign-in pop-up appearing after one minute of browsing.
Even now I'm paying a small sub to use the infinity app. That and desktop browser addons are the only way I can tolerate it.

Why delete your account?
If you don't need to preserve it, there's no incentive to gift your personal data to a tech corps. They'll only lose it, abuse it or let it be stolen.
I mean, I'm terrible for deleting accounts but I get why it's smart.
