If so, where are you from and how do you celebrate it?
Seems like a silly question but US holidays also seem to be often celebrated overseas lol.

Based on your Cinco De Mayo example I can appreciate where you thought process was coming from.
The vast majority of Americans don't celebrate Cinco De Mayo as much as use it as an excuse to suck down shots of Tequila.
The "Holiday" is just another commercialized event that circulates around revenue generation vs. remembering, let alone knowing anything about the reason for the day.
The country that celebrates the 4th of July as much or more than the USA is China. That is where fireworks are manufactured. 🤣
We import a lot of American Holidays to Norway, but not July 4th because it's a very specific US centered one. Things like Valentine's day are easier to transfer because it doesn't depend on any US specific practices.
We celebrate 17th May in Norway quite heavily, thought, and along with the US we are one of the few countries that REALLY take our independence day seriously... Cuz fuck being owned by Sweden.
Why would other country celebrate the independence of the USA? Do USA celebrate independence of other countries?

^^ that's because the Mexican immigrants celebrate it, it became popular in the south of US and Americans start to celebrate it.
It celebrate the victory from Mexican over the French napoleonian army on a battle.
It's not a national independence day.
