That's really common.
I worked in help desk service and we listen with the technician the roccord of his/her intervention and most of them tell that their voice sound weird a'd they don't like it.
It's because it creates a cognitive dissonance between what we hear and what other hear.
When we speak we hear the sound of our voice through the air and from the interior of our body through vibration of our skull. People only hear the sound from the air.

That's so complex

Basically we don't like to hear our voice because it seems different when we hear it.

I think it’s the unfamiliarity with our own voice (the voice we hear in our head is different so it sounds off at first). It took a few videos before I got comfortable with my voice on recording

That makes alot of sense

I wish my voice was like the one in my head not in real life

I'm glad the voice in my head is only in my head. Trust me, you don't want to hear what it has to say sometimes 😂

It's pretty standard

No you're not alone. I hate hearing my recorded voice because it just sounds so different from what I'm used to hearing. It feels like it's not me even though I know it is. It's kind of the same with seeing yourself on video when you aren't used to it. There's like a strange disconnected feeling to it.

I can’t stand hearing my voice played back! It’s gotten to the point I go dead silent when someone pulls out a phone to record a video 🤐
