My compromised Reddit account is now posting NSFW spam — need advice
A few days ago I made a post explaining that my 11-year-old Reddit account got compromised. I was suddenly logged out and haven’t been able to regain access at all, even after trying to reset the password.
Now it’s gotten worse. Whoever has my account is actively using it to post in a bunch of NSFW subreddits I’ve never even heard of, making fake porn/sexting-type posts pretending to be someone else. I’ve attached a screenshot showing what’s being posted.
I’ve already messaged the moderators of those subreddits asking them to remove the posts, and I’ve also warned the communities I actually used to be active in about what’s going on before anything happens that could get me in trouble or damage my reputation.
At this point I feel completely locked out while someone else is running wild on my account. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? What else should I be doing to try and recover the account or stop the damage?
Any help would be appreciated.

I don’t know if there’s anything else you can do outside of reporting it to Reddit which I’m guessing you’ve already done. You’ll just have to wait until Reddit handles it.

I already reported it to Reddit 3 days ago and haven't heard anything back aside from this email they sent me which was probably automated and not sent by an actual human
I hate to say it but your likely never getting your account back. Reddit is all automated. I got banned on there 3 weeks ago no reason given no response at all to my appeals.
Same here. I got a bullshit lifetime ban on my 13 year old account and I couldn't find a human being to talk to about my appeals. The worst thing was they banned all my new accounts too. They must track your IP address and I hear they do device tracking too. Reddit was like a 2nd home to me (I had like almost a million reddit points/karma) and I thought I would never find anything like reddit again until I found this site which I hope can be the next reddit but better.
I'm sorry this is happening to you. Can you make another account on a different device and email the admins?
Tell your followers it’s been compromised and if they can please report it. That could get it on Reddits radar. Sorry this is happening to you
