What are your favourite Amiga games?
I don't think I can make my own personal top 10. There's too many to rank imo. But here's a few that I can think of.
These could be some cool games for retro gamers that maybe don't know much about the Amiga.
If you had an Amiga, what were your favourites? It'd be cool to hear what you guys were playing back in the day.
Frontier: Elite 2
One of the prequels to Elite Dangerous and some way still superior imo. An entire universe on a floppy disk and you could even fly through the planets and cities.
Moonstone
4-player action-rpg genre mashing gore-fest. This was incredible. Great to play with mates for an evening even if it was nails.
Alien Breed
Spawned an amazing franchise. Perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere of Aliens with tense combat and gauntlet style gameplay. Also gave us one of the best attempts at Doom on the Amiga.
Fireforce
Probably lesser known but my cousin had this and it was awesome. Choose your loadout and go on missions with different objectives. Felt pretty innovative for it's time.
Cannon Fodder
War has never been so much fun. This was an incredible action war game from Sensible Software.
Sensible Soccer
The best football game ever imo. I don't even like football anymore and I'll still pick this up and be hooked.
Flashback
A platform adventure game that just kept on giving. Amazing animation, story and very similar to Another World.
Syndicate
Tactical cyberpunk combat through living isometric cities. Only got better in the sequel, Syndicate Wars.
Flimbo's Ques
A fun platform shooter. Still play this a lot and came free with my C64 too.
Populous
A fun god sim that came free with my Amiga. Another really innovative game from Bullfrog. When Peter Molyneux could do no wrong.
