Tubman Plans the Twin Cities' First Pet-Friendly Domestic Violence Shelter
Harriet's Haven for Pets successfully raised the necessary funds and commenced construction with a groundbreaking ceremony on July 17, 2024, to build a facility for pets and their owners. The project, located at the Tubman Harriet Tubman Center East in Maplewood, is scheduled to open in early 2026.
