Why I started OddsRabbit + Upcoming community events - OddsRabbit Newsletter #9

So today I’ve learned of the term “vulnerability hangover”,

A wave of shame, regret, or intense anxiety that follows sharing something deep, personal, or authentic with another person

And this genius decided to share it with the world hahah. Check out my origin story video.

Anyway, we were SO close to hitting the $1 billion OddsRabbit community powerball pool (well, not really, we hit 1 number, but it was fun dreaming for a few hours). I hope to keep this going whenever the jackpot hits $1b again.

Community Spaces

We’re adding a new concept called Spaces to OddsRabbit. We’re splitting the community types into

• Community/Discussion/Feed: A feed list for discussions (what we have today)
• Blog: A blog-styled community.
• Gallery: A space designed for displaying images and visual work.

We’re very excited for this feature as it’ll give users more options to customize their community exactly the way they want while keeping the core of OddsRabbit the same. More info to come soon.

Community Events

We had the powerball community event recently, and I’m hoping to do more.

Any suggestions or ideas?

@tamagotchimurderer09 suggested a book club

Community gaming? Golden Eye 007 anyone?

A few posts we loved recently

• @ValerieXiong sharing a multi post storyline of her recent SHEIN heist, I love it 😂
• Awesome Zelda themed phone wallpapers shared by @MrNicecow
• @delilahblack creating a video for OddsRabbit!
• @Lenavalexoxo looking like she should be in a Batman movie playing Poison Ivy!
• Introverts on their birthday shared by @ArdvarkMaster
• @maze showing off his many, many talents, including this homemade Italian meal. Also, have you seen the insane /c/mazes he draws? Wow

As always, remember to check out the Explore page or the Trending tab to see everything that’s been trending on OddsRabbit! There are a ton more awesome posts that I couldn’t share.

A random quote because I like random quotes

By the numbers

We’re at 9,611 meals as of today! Thank you all for joining and being a part of this =)

Maybe I’ll go get a carrot cake or something to celebrate on the 10,000 mark haha.

Closing it out

I’m looking to start posting a bit more on the OddsRabbit socials, so if you're on any other platform, I’d really appreciate it if you look us up and give us a follow.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading =)
