I've got an Idea!!
We should collectively go on r/RedditAlternative and go to posts or comments section and recommend Oddsrabbit, and not be those guys who recommends Lemmy.
Edit: not like a raid or promote, but like suggest if someones asking.

While that’d be appreciated, I rather not brigade/spam a sub.
Not a great look for the platform and getting banned isn’t worth it. If done naturally though, when you see someone asking, a recommendation would be greatly greatly appreciated ❤️
Never tried it, but researched about it and it's not a uniform things, you have to be basically use someones server, and if they decide to shut the server down then you have to quickly save your stuff and go onto a different server, that's just a lot of hassle.
But isn’t that the same for this place or reddit? They can shut it down at any point. That happened to Digg recently where I was a part of. They shut it down without notice. On Lemmy there are at least options to transfer your data. Even if someone does shut down an instance, all other instances still have that data so the links will be live for posterity. I’ve been there for two years and that particular thing has not been an issue for me.
Oh, how I interpreted, it made me think it was a hassle to switch and etc if something like this happens.
Depends on what you are looking for. They have tools to copy your profile over from one instance to another. But since the “karma” system doesn’t really matter or affect anything. You can just create a new account where you want.
The bigger worry is creating a community on an instance and then having that instance shut down, since not every place has to the tools to port all of that over to a new place.
I’ve slipped a couple of recommendations in, over there. I try not to be too heavy-handed, but I’ll continue to look for opportunities. If they ban me, they ban me; that’s part of the problem in that sub that just proves the point!
No, JingJunMa didn't get banned when posting updates about this.
Well I don't think so, if people aren't getting banned for talking about or suggesting lemmy then why not.
