Lol yep.. I hope teachers at least let kids doodle in class now. It really helps some of us listen better.

I always preferred writing, so I would write my own random stuff in class and not get in trouble because it looked like I was taking notes. I could not actually take notes unless I could copy them directly from the board or projector. In lectures, I just wrote and tuned in when I could tell the teacher was making an important point.
