Junior Caminero (American League) and Luis García Jr (National League) have won Player of the Week awards

Junior Caminero (Tampa Bay Rays) has won his second Player of the Week award. Caminero hit seven home runs in six games last week, and three of those came in one game versus the Royals. Caminero hit for a slash like of .423/.500/1.231 across 30 plate appearances during the week. He recorded 15 RBIs, and also hit a homerun last week 463 feet.

Luis García Jr (Washington Nationals) has won his first Player of the Week award. He hit six home runs in six games last week. He also lead the Majors in batting average (.526), on-base percentage (.591) and slugging percentage (1.579).
