Angel Martínez (American League) and Gavin Sheets (National League) have won Player of the Week awards

Angel Martínez (Cleveland Guardians) has won his first Player of the Week award. He went 7-for-19 at the plate with four home runs and seven RBIs, and has raised his OPS (On-Base plus Slugging) percentage to .822 for the season.

Gavin Sheets (San Diego Padres) has also won his first Player of the Week award. He went 10-for-16 with four homers and eight RBIs. He raised his season batting average by 53 points.
