What aspect of baseball bothers you the most when done poorly?

For me it has to be bad baserunning. I always forgive physical errors because that can happen to anyone. If you stumble and fall down, oh well it happens. But how is it possible that fans in the stadium know the situation better than the professional players on the field.

Trying to steal 2nd base down 3 runs in the 9th inning. (already done by one of my favorite team’s players this season)

Thinking it was a good idea to act like you were tagging up to 3rd base on a fly out to fake out the defense, only to stop half way, and get thrown out trying to go back to 2nd base.

Jogging to 1st base thinking you just hit a homerun, only for the ball to hit off the wall, and get thrown out trying to get to 2nd base.

Not running hard to first base on a ground ball because you assume you’re as good as out, but the ball doesn’t get handled cleanly and you would have beat the throw had you done your job.

When your team is struggling to score runs it is so frustrating to watch the players get thrown out on the bases due to mental mistakes. To make it worse some managers leave these players in the game afterwards instead of setting an example.

So what baseball aspect is most frustrating for you when done poorly?
