Wow, a six-year period? My moments of happiness are rather fleeting, I'm afraid.
Well it's the happiest I've been I suppose? I wouldn't call it as "true" happiness or whatever.
It may very well be that clams can't be deeply happy either. Maybe they merely feel comfortable, but have decided it comes close enough to what could be called true happiness.
