A beautiful vulture experience 🥹
To start, vultures are my very favorite birds! This morning I was taking a drive and I saw a vulture standing slightly off the road. He appeared to be injured, largely because of how close he was letting me get to him, I called a local rescue who came and picked him up. Sitting with him was just so beautiful, seeing the sun on his feathers was breathtaking. I absolutely had to share 🥰

Oh man sorry to hear. How did vultures become your favorite birds? I think I personally have a slight phobia of birds haha
A bird phobia is SO valid honestly! I totally understand that!
Vultures are my favorites because they are true survivalists! I admire their willingness to eat the "rotten" meat other creatures have left behind! In theory, vultures could eat rabies out of existence! Plus if you see vultures circling ahead, you're very likely to find some kind of bones nearby and I absolutely LOVE finding bones!!!
That's a fun (theory) fact!
I kind of want to ask more about your love of finding bones... but I'm also a bit afraid to ask/hear why LOL
My ancestors were definitely preyed on by the pterodactyls haha
Haha! You can feel free to ask! In the shortest and sweetest way possible, I think bones make for insanely cool trinkets/decorations!!!
The fear of birds is just deeply rooted in your survival brain! That makes total sense!
Haha nice. I'm a curious person in general so I have a ton of questions lol.
Do you ID the bones you find?
Do you have a cool bone trinket/decoration I can see? 👀
