Standing Strong With Christ
God's Morning Word β Oct. 04, 2026
Being a Christian means standing strong in the Lord every day.
Good vs. evil is a constant battle, and because we belong to Christ, some people may hate us because of our faith.
It means that we turn the other cheek β sucking up our pride when people slander us, curse us, and mock us.
It means staying away from bad influences that can pull us away from the Christian lives we're trying to live.
See> (Luke 6:22 KJV) β βBlessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.β
Because we're Christians, we belong to Christ. That doesn't mean we're never weak. It means our strength comes from the Lord, and through Him we can stand strong when people come against us.
See> (Ephesians 6:10 KJV) β βFinally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.β
Brothers and sisters in faith, because we're living Christian lives, we've learned that living in an evil world can be difficult.
Because of this, we've learned that our strength grows as we keep our faith in Christ.
Through our experiences, we know it is by faith that we are able to trust in God for the things we've hoped for, even when they seem impossible to us.
See> (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) β βNow faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.β
Revβs Note
Our faith in Jesus Christ is what keeps us looking to Him and striving to live Christian lives. We don't live right to earn Heaven; we live right because we belong to Christ and want to stay close to God.
See> (Romans 1:17 KJV) β βFor therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.β
Morning Prayer π
Heavenly Father God, through our faith in Your Son Jesus Christ, You give us strength through Your Holy Spirit to help us through each day. Help us continue to live by faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
