Let Us Be Thankful

God’s Morning Word — Sept. 25, 2026

Because we are created by an Almighty God, we should always have thankful hearts. And because God loves us so much, He made a way for us to be assured we can be with Him for all eternity through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Let us remain thankful to our Lord for our salvation. Through Jesus Christ, those who openly declare with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and wholeheartedly believe God raised Him from the dead will be saved.

See> (Romans 10:9 KJV) — “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Praise God! Jesus Christ came in human form, allowed Himself to be beaten and tortured, and then gave His life on the cross, paying the ultimate price so we could have everlasting life.

We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. We have accepted God’s truth: that God created mankind and sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth, to save our souls after mankind rebelled and turned from His ways.

Through the blood of God’s Son Jesus Christ, the sins of those who believe in Him are cleansed.

Today, because our sins have been washed away by the blood of Christ, we strive to walk in the light and have fellowship with each other.

See> (1 John 1:7 KJV) — “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Today, because we are living our new lives in Christ, we need to honor God’s will by going out and telling others about the Gospel of Christ. All of God’s children need to be ready to tell people about His truth.

See> (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV) — “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

Rev’s Note

We are God’s children, so let us follow our Lord’s example and tell other people about God’s truth. Perhaps our friends and neighbors would like to know.

Be blessed. You can do this.

Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father God, we are grateful for the salvation of our souls. And because we are Your sons and daughters, we seek Your Spirit to help us tell others about Your truth. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Your Son, we pray. Amen.

May we walk together with Christ daily.
